Independent of age, breed or behavioural problems, we offer you a balanced approach to dog training that works, empowers you and relaxes your dog. The emphasis is on building a respectful relationship & enabling you to communicate clearly. We put right what is wrong so you can enjoy life with your dog.
You will learn how to use various communication channels, how to create boundaries and let your dog know what you want. From taking your obedience to the next level or effectively addressing problem behaviours, our 1-on-1 sessions empower you to be in control.
Working in and around your home, our individual sessions are tailored to your needs and situation. You are the focus! We show you how to work with your dog and teach you exactly what you need to know. For a more in-depth look at our training approach, read the methodology section.
In our 1-on-1 dog training sessions we often address behavioural problems such as, but not limited to:
– separation anxiety
– barking
– pulling on the lead
– leash reactivity
– resource guarding
– jumping up
– fear/anxiety
– hyperactivity
– chewing
Mild cases of aggression can be addressed in our 1-on-1 dog training sessions, but more serious cases require a board & train intervention – we currently do not offer those.

PAYMENT – You can make payment via bank transfer. We also accept payment in Bitcoin, Ethereum and other cryptocurrencies. Let us know what you prefer when making a booking.
TRAVEL COSTS – Each km travelled will incur a surcharge of $1. This surcharge is per session and calculated from our base in Raglan. Here are some indications of travel costs per session:

SERVICE AREA – We cover the western Waikato region for our individual dog training sessions. We tend to travel no further than an hour from Raglan. We may make an exception for additional travel costs.

DOG TRAINING HAMILTON & RAGLAN – LEAD TRAINING RESULTS
Doberman Morris went from pulling and being worked up to this in one session. Here can see his owner Evelyn walking him nicely for the first time. Transformations do not always happen this quick, but it should not take long either. If you are not making steady progress your communication is off.
Golden Retriever Luther could not help himself when going for a walk. His excitement levels went up, which led to pulling and often jumping on people. Above you can watch his buddy Reese walking him calmly down the road after just 20 minutes of proper leash work. The clearer our communication, the quicker a dog can learn.
